What is an Empath?
Empaths are a group of highly sensitive people that are on our planet to heal, support, and care for others.
Here are 10 signs you might be an empath:
You pick up on people's energy quickly, whether it's positive, negative, anxious, happy, or sad
You can feel people's emotions as if they are your own
You feel compassion and empathy as a natural instinct
You're easily drained by others
Your friends and family call you for support regularly
You are drawn to helping others and have a hard time not caring or saying “no”
You avoid confrontation
Your entire mood can shift quickly based on something that you read, saw, or overheard
You are highly sensitive to loud sounds, bright lights, and commotion
You may also be dealing with a mental health or body issue, such as anxiety, fatigue, autoimmune, body pain, or depression
If this sounds like you, most likely you’re an empath. Yay!
Being an empath is a gift, although it may not feel like it at times.
It took me a long time to understand how to be a healthy empath. I wasn’t able to focus on myself, my own emotions, or healing properly.
