Is Reiki right for you?
It hit me after over a decade of health issues that could not be solved by a doctor. A friend of mine had gone to a Reiki treatment and in the days following the treatment, she was visibly different. She was happier, slower, and less anxious.
This caught my attention.
I waited another year before I had the courage to go myself. I really didn’t think it was going to work. Plus, if it did work, I was afraid of what that meant and what it might open or change in me. I finally came to a breaking point, and I made the decision to go. Only about 3 months later, I was sitting in on my Reiki level 1 training.
Could Reiki also be a helpful option for you? Let’s take a moment to look over some of the ailments or struggles that I’ve personally seen Reiki help support, heal, and overcome:
Anxiety and depression
Past or future life events and finding closure/peace
Body pain, chronic health issues, headaches/migraines
Insomnia, trouble falling or staying asleep

I know from experience that alternative medicine becomes a more viable option when modern medicine hasn’t helped.
I spent over ten years dealing with increasing ailments beginning with hair loss in my early twenties, to anxiety, bouts of depression, chronic body pain, digestive issues, and migraines to name a few. Of course, I’ve tried all sorts of other alternative treatments-- massage, acupuncture, meditation, therapy, sound baths, yoga, mantras, and herbal remedies. They all worked, but something was still missing.
Reiki is the glue that held it all together and renewed me.
